Cancellation & Refund Policy

At NextView Tours GmbH, we aim to provide a fair and transparent process for cancellations and refunds. Our policies are governed by the Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Sales Act (Fern- und Auswärtsgeschäfte-Gesetz – FAGG) and the Austrian Package Travel Act (Pauschalreisegesetz – PRG).


1. Right of Withdrawal (Statutory Information)

According to § 18 Para 1 Line 10 FAGG, there is no statutory right of withdrawal (the typical 14-day cooling-off period) for contracts concerning services provided in connection with leisure activities, provided that a specific date or period for the performance of the contract is agreed upon.

What this means for you: Once a booking for a specific tour date is confirmed, you do not have a statutory 14-day right to cancel for free. However, NextView Tours GmbH provides the following voluntary cancellation rights for your convenience.


2. Voluntary Cancellation Fees

We understand plans change. The following refund schedule applies to cancellations made by the traveler:

A. Day Trips and City Tours (Duration < 24 Hours)

  • Up to 24 hours before the tour start: Full refund (100%) of the purchase price.

  • Less than 24 hours before start or “No-Show”: No refund (100% cancellation fee).

B. Multi-Day Trips and Custom Packages

  • Up to 30 days before departure: Refund of 80% (20% retained as a non-refundable deposit/admin fee).

  • 29 to 10 days before departure: 50% refund.

  • Less than 10 days before departure: No refund.


3. Cancellation Due to Extraordinary Circumstances

Pursuant to Section 10 of the PRG, you may withdraw from a booking before the start of the trip without paying a cancellation fee if unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances (e.g., official travel warnings, natural disasters, or significant security risks) occur at the destination or its immediate vicinity which significantly affect the performance of the tour.


4. Refund Process

  • Request: All refund requests must be sent in writing to bookings@nextviewtours.com or office@nextviewtours.at. Please include your Order Number and Name.

  • Payment Method: Refunds will be issued exclusively to the original payment method used at the time of booking.

  • Processing Time: Please allow 10 business days from the date of approval for the refund to be processed and reflected in your account.


5. Cancellations by NextView Tours GmbH

If we are forced to cancel a tour due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or failure to reach a minimum number of participants (if applicable):

  1. We will offer you an alternative date or an equivalent tour.

  2. If you decline the alternative, you will receive a 100% full refund.
